Cash and Liquidity Technology-VP

Job Description :

• Own the end-to-end life cycle management of COTS and bespoke applications within the Cash and Liquidity Technology System Analysis domain.
• Define and deliver robust technical and application designs, ensuring alignment with both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of technical designs for applications transitioning into the production environment.
• Collaborate with project teams to guide solution design and implementation, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and specifications.
• Partner with clients, users, and development teams to identify optimal application platform usage, establishing strategies and standards for application areas.
• Act as the primary contact for Level 3 support, driving resolution of production and test environment issues by coordinating across all relevant teams.
• Foster a culture of service excellence by prioritizing customer focus, team collaboration, and business needs in all deliverables.
• Work closely with cross-functional Technology teams (BAs, Architects, Service Management, Change/Release, IT Risk & Security) to ensure seamless delivery and support.

• .Education: Degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Industry Experience: Extensive experience within financial organizations, particularly in transaction processing systems development and support.
• Payments Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SEPA (Credit Transfer, Direct Debit, Instant), Faster Payments, BACS, and European/local payment formats.
• Applications Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of FIS OPF / FIS PaaS / Payments applications (or similar payment processing platforms), with exposure to middleware, sanctions screening, charging, and fraud monitoring systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in ISO XML message formats (pain, pacs, camt), WebSphere Application Server, IBM MQ, Linux/Windows servers, and Oracle/SQL databases.
• Engineering & Architecture: Strong foundation in software engineering, application architecture, service management, security, operations, and IT standards.
• Modern Technology Exposure: Knowledge of APIs, digital enablement platforms, containerization, high availability, deployment models, disaster recovery, cloud, and networking.
• Problem Solving: Experienced in troubleshooting both infrastructure and application development issues across the full development life cycle.
