Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
• Install cabinets, doors, and windows and perform finishing work such as sanding and painting.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction professionals to complete projects on time.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter with 3-10 years in residential or commercial carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
