Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance across hospital, hostel, and academic buildings.
- Install, repair, and maintain furniture, doors, partitions, frames, panels, and wooden fixtures.
- Assist in the fabrication and installation of custom furniture and fittings as per institutional needs.
- Inspect structures for damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Ensure all carpentry work complies with safety standards and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance, electrical, and civil teams for joint projects.
- Maintain an organized workshop and inventory of carpentry tools and supplies.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Carpentry or a related trade certification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in carpentry works (hospital/institutional experience preferred).
- Proficiency in handling a variety of woodworking tools and machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (basic level).
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to safety.
