Role Description

This is a contract-based Carpenter role, requiring on-site work in Chennai. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of construction-related tasks including framing, finish carpentry, and installation of wood structures. The individual will use various hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications, while ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Carpentry, including both framing and finish carpentry tasks
• Skilled in the use of Hand Tools and Power Tools for construction and woodworking
• Strong understanding of blueprints or design layouts and ability to work with them effectively
• Experience in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials with precision
• Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow established guidelines
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Previous experience in construction or similar roles; formal training in carpentry is a plus
