Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Carpenter based in Chennai. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures primarily made of wood and other materials, using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. The role includes tasks such as framing, finish carpentry, and working closely with team members to ensure high-quality craftsmanship aligned with designs and specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry with attention to detail and quality
• Experience working with Hand Tools and Power Tools accurately and safely
• Strong skills in Framing and structural assembly techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
• Good knowledge of material properties and adherence to safety guidelines
• Physical stamina and ability to work on-site for extended hours when necessary
• Prior experience in similar roles or vocational training in carpentry
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and an eye for detail
