The Global Business Development & Inside Sales Team engages in daily business-to-business communication to prospective and current customers and partners of SAS. We engage in the execution of strategic sales and marketing activities involving prospective and/or current customers with a focus on prospect pipeline development and customer experience management in support of new business acquisition. Our team works closely with the Marketing and Sales teams and there will be opportunities to engage with multiple areas of SAS as well as our clients.

Generates incremental revenue through lead follow up, social selling, prospecting, cold-calling, up-selling and cross-selling activities within a territory or account.

As an intern, you might:

  • Execute Marketing campaigns to turn these into engagement for our Sales teams
  • Engage with our customers & prospects to uncover their challenges and requirements
  • Collaborate with both Marketing and Sales colleagues to identify contacts and opportunities for lead generation
  • Utilise a muti channel approach to engage with prospects and customers on behalf of Sales and Marketing
  • Discovers and qualifies potential sales opportunities.
  • Provides call execution for sales programs and lead generation campaigns and tracks results
  • Effectively initiates communication via the phone and email with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree Type: Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, PhD (Note: Advanced degrees require HRBP approval)
  • Targeted majors: Preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant disciplines.
  • IF STUDENT PROFILE: You're a college student enrolled in an accredited program.
  • Additional required skills/qualifications You have experience in one of the following types of programs: PowerPoint, Excel, General MS Office
  • You're curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are ourvalues and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • You're interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
