Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar for a Career Counselor. The Career Counselor will be responsible for guiding students and individuals in making informed career decisions, developing personalized career plans, and providing advice on skill enhancement. The role includes conducting counseling sessions, assessing career goals, offering guidance on career management, and building relationships with educational institutions. The counselor will also help students align their career ambitions with their skills and market requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management
- Experience in Student Counseling and providing guidance on educational goals
- Strong verbal and written Communication skills to effectively interact with students and other stakeholders
- Empathy and interpersonal skills to build trust and create a positive counseling experience
- Educational background in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus
- Proven ability to assess individual capabilities and match them with career paths
- Problem-solving abilities to address unique challenges faced by clients
- Experience in career services or academic advisement is beneficial
