Job Description

Restaurant Captain / Floor Captain

Job Summary

We are seeking a smart, customer-orientated, and experienced restaurant captain to supervise floor operations and ensure excellent guest service. The candidate will lead the service team, coordinate with the kitchen staff, and maintain smooth restaurant operations during service hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise waiters and service staff during shifts
  • Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Take customer orders and assist in service when required
  • Coordinate between kitchen and floor staff
  • Handle guest complaints professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
  • Train new staff on service standards and restaurant policies
  • Monitor table setup, food presentation, and service quality
  • Ensure timely serving of food and beverages
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 12th pass or diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management
  • 1–3 years of experience in restaurant or hotel service
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and team-handling abilities
  • Basic knowledge of food & beverage service
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts

Salary

₹18,000 – ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience and location)

Working Hours

  • 9–10 hours per day
  • Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
