Role Overview

As a Capital Market Analyst Intern, you'll assist in the development, analysis, and execution of multi-asset portfolios for clients and research initiatives. You'll gain exposure to the inner workings of capital markets, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and macroeconomic analysisequipping you with the skillset to evaluate market trends and build balanced portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research and track movements across equity, debt, and derivative instruments

2. Analyse macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, and financial statements

3. Assist in building and managing diversified client portfolios

4. Work on sector-wise allocation and risk profiling of client investment strategies

5. Prepare weekly market outlook reports and investment rationale

6. Backtest portfolio strategies using tools like TradingView, Excel, or Portfolio Visualizer

7. Coordinate with trading and research teams to optimize portfolio decisions

Who Should Apply

1. Students or recent graduates in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related fields

2. Keen interest in stock markets, investment research, and portfolio building

3. Strong foundation in financial ratios, risk metrics, and valuation principles

4. Familiarity with platforms such as NSE/BSE, Screener, Investing.com, and TradingView

5. Analytical mindset with good Excel/reporting skills

6. Prior exposure to virtual trading, stock pitch competitions, or live market tracking is a bonus
