About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cameraman / Videographer for our new YouTube channel focused on Business News, Finance, Markets, Startups, and Economy content. The ideal candidate should have experience in studio and on-ground shoots, strong camera handling skills, and the ability to capture high-quality visuals in a fast-paced news environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle studio shoots for anchors, interviews, discussions, and explainer videos.
- Manage on-ground shoots for business events, startup stories, office visits, and field coverage.
- Set up camera equipment, lighting, audio, and framing for professional-quality recordings.
- Capture engaging B-roll footage relevant to business and finance stories.
- Coordinate with anchors, producers, editors, and editorial team for smooth shoot execution.
- Ensure proper focus, exposure, sound sync, and visual quality during shoots.
- Manage multiple-camera setups when required.
- Maintain camera gear, accessories, batteries, memory cards, and studio equipment.
- Deliver footage promptly for editing and publishing timelines.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience as a Cameraman / Videographer in news channel / digital media / YouTube production.
- Strong knowledge of DSLR, mirrorless, ENG cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, and lighting setups.
- Understanding of framing, composition, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
- Experience in studio shoots, interviews, and quick turnaround newsroom shoots.
- Basic understanding of audio recording with mics and sound equipment.
- Ability to work under deadlines and flexible schedules.
