Job description:
We are looking for a skilled CAM/DFM Engineerto join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will work closely with our PCB design and manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are manufacturable, optimized for assembly, and compliant with customer requirements. You will analyze Gerber files, define stack-ups, select materials, and provide technical support throughout the design-to-fab process.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze Gerber filesand technical specifications provided by customers
- Meet customer quotation data, define stack-ups, and select appropriate materialsfor PCB designs
- Provide expertise in Genesis 2000and troubleshoot technical issues faced by engineers
- Manage arrayed jobs, routing, retention, and scoring, including plated/non-plated slots and cutouts
- Work with rigid-flex, flex, and HDI technologiesto ensure manufacturability
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to recommend improvements and prevent design issues
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing within the team
Required skills and qualifications:
- BE/BSC/MSC/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computers, or IT
- Strong experience in PCB CAM and DFM processes, preferably in high-density or complex PCB designs
- Proficient in PCB design tools, stack-up definitions, and fabrication constraints
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
