Job Description

CAIE Computer Science Teacher (Primary & Lower Secondary)

Location: Mangalore, Karnataka

About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and student-centered CAIE Computer Science Teacher to inspire and develop digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills among Primary and Lower Secondary students. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum and will design engaging, hands-on learning experiences that introduce students to coding, computational thinking, digital technologies, robotics, and emerging technologies while fostering creativity and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science and Digital Literacy lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary curricula.
  • Develop students understanding of computational thinking, programming concepts, digital systems, and online safety.
  • Create inquiry-based, project-based, and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and development.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Stay current with developments in Computer Science education, educational technology, and Cambridge curriculum updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 1–5 years of teaching experience in Computer Science, ICT, or Digital Literacy.
  • Experience teaching Cambridge Primary and/or Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum is preferred.

Work Schedule: 8:00 am–4:30 pm (Mon–Fri), 8:00 am–2:30 pm (Sat)
