Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Caf Assistant at Caf SAYJ, located in Mumbai. The Caf Assistant will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Additional responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, maintaining inventory, and supporting team members to provide a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Food Preparation and Food Service, ensuring consistency and quality of menu items
• Knowledge of Food Safety standards and practices to ensure compliance and hygiene maintenance
• Strong Customer Service skills and the ability to deliver a positive and welcoming experience
• Familiarity with Food & Beverage offerings, including coffee, smoothies, and light meals
• Effective communication skills and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle inventory management and basic operational tasks
• Prior experience in a similar role or in the food service industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food handling are an advantage
