Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated CAE Project Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in shell meshing using HyperMesh (latest version). The ideal candidate should have good meshing skills and a basic understanding of FEA simulations using OPTISTRUCT. The role involves creating high-quality mesh models, supporting simulation activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Create clean and accurate shell mesh models using HyperMesh.
• Ensure mesh quality as per project and industry standards.
• Support for simulation activities using OPTISTRUCT for:

Ø Modal Analysis

Ø Static Analysis

Ø Dynamic Analysis (vibration and shock)

• Assist in checking and interpreting simulation results.
• Prepare clear and simple technical reports.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to support CAE activities.
• Troubleshoot basic meshing or simulation issues.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in shell meshing using HyperMesh.
• Basic knowledge of OPTISTRUCT solver and FEA concepts.
• Understanding of mesh quality criteria and model preparation for analysis.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Basic problem-solving skills related to meshing and simulation setup.

• Knowledge of railway standards such as:

Ø EN 12663-1:2010 – Structural requirements of railway vehicle bodies

Ø EN 61373:2010 – Shock and vibration testing
