Job Description
Job Description:
- Good experience in Automotive transmission and driveline (traditional and electric) systems.
- Develop CFD methods and use of tools, to support new designs relevant to transmission and driveline, as well as resolve issues relating to manufacturing and quality.
- Should be able to identify root cause of undesired outcomes from simulations and finding the reasonable solution.
- Experience with two-phase flow modeling (VOF) and multi-cell region problems (moving/sliding mesh).
- Conduct model correlations for subsystem functionality verification.
- Thorough understanding of physics related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
- Hands-on experience with Star-CCM+ and ANSA.
- Preferred candidate will be an individual contributor, working directly with global design and product development teams on futuristic hybrid and battery electric vehicles.
Domain Knowledge
- CFD Analysis
- Knowledge of Transmission and Driveline system
- Good understanding of Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer
Additional Skills
- Skilled in Preonlab (Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics) will be considered as an added advantage.
- Experience with GT-suite/AMESim is a plus.
- Knowledge of transmission hydraulic/lube system.
- Knowledge on Teamcenter will be considered as an advantage.
