Individual contributor in delivering Engine Exhaust CAE projects (Strength, stiffness, fatigue, Durability, Vibration, Thermomechanical; component/correlations/Method development etc.) as an individual contributor/with support of team.
Execute and check the progress of the projects, and suggest alternatives whenever required to make sure the delivery milestones are met, with the appropriate quality and cost.
Leverage team competency by bringing new technology/concept to deliver Program CAE
Provide technical guidance on Exhaust CAE Durability attributes projects; establish as a GoTO person
Well versed with FEA tools like Hypermesh/ANSA, Abaqus, n-Code, FEMFAT, Nastran etc.
Skilled in optimization tools like ModeFrontier/Hyperstudy/HEEDS/Optistuct etc
Take initiative and responsibility for new challenging projects and collaborate team to deliver the task.
Ensure lessons learnt are captured, translated & applied to future programs.
Participate in Tech club meetings and support developing action plans and solutions for critical issues related to Exhaust systems.
Should be able to find out the root cause for convergence issues during analysis and mentor the team to complete complex analysis.
Expertise in predicting the failure zone upfront and decide on the better FE modelling procedure to get more accurate CAE results.
Interfacing with the customer on the project status and analysis reviews on closure of TGW/issues within expectation
