We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CAD Engineer with strong expertise in
AutoCAD modeling,
LISP programming, and
interdisciplinary coordination across civil, structural, and architectural domains. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing technical drawings, 3D modeling, and rendering for presentation purposes. This role demands a high level of precision, creativity, and collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage 2D and 3D AutoCAD models for civil and structural projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings including:
- General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
- Numeration Drawings
- Reinforced Concrete (RC) Detailed Drawings
- Collaborate with other disciplines (structural, architectural, MEP) to ensure seamless design integration.
- Write and maintain LISP programs to automate repetitive tasks and enhance drawing productivity.
- Create 3Ds Max models and renderings for high-quality visual presentations and videos.
- Optional: Prepare structural steel detailing drawings as per project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve drawing quality and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with AutoCAD (latest version) in a professional engineering environment.
- Proficiency in LISP programming for AutoCAD customization.
- Strong understanding of civil and structural drawing standards.
- Experience in 3Ds Max for modeling and rendering.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with structural steel detailing.
- Familiarity with other design tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or SketchUp.
- Prior experience in defense, infrastructure, or industrial projects is a plus.
