Role Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman / Architectural Drafter with strong AutoCAD experience to prepare accurate drawings and layouts for civil, interior, and MEP projects. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, with around 1-2 years of practical experience, and able to coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, and project teams.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, working as a back-office support and coordinating closely with project teams in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop architectural and construction drawings based on project requirements.
• Assist in planning layouts and design development where required.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams for revisions and updates.
• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Ensure all drawings meet project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
• Assist and learn Quantity Take-Offs, BOQ preparation, and supplier coordination as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman or Architectural Drafter.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of SketchUp & Revit is an advantage).
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is a must.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction drawings, and planning.
• Ability to interpret civil, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Quantity Surveying (QS) or quantity take-offs from drawings will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
