Position Overview:
The CAD Designer will be responsible forcreating detailed 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and design blueprints for product development. This role requires a mix ofcreativity, technical expertise, and attention to detailto ensure that all designs are functional, manufacturable, and aligned with project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed2D drawings and 3D modelsusing CAD software.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into accurate designs.
- Create design prototypes, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
- Modify and refine existing designs based on feedback and testing.
- Ensure all designs meet quality, safety, and usability standards.
- Research and recommend innovative design solutions, materials, and methods.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as aCAD Designer / Draftsman / Product Designer.
- Proficiency in CAD software such asAutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of3D modeling, rendering, and technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret and create detailed technical specifications.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience inproduct design, toy design, or educational product development.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Experience with prototyping and 3D printing.
