Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on CAD Designer who can convert ideas into manufacturable mechanical designs. You will work closely with our Robotics R&D team to design enclosures, robot chassis, mechanical assemblies, and product components.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and general Drawing techniques
- Strong knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
- Experience in creating Construction Drawings with precision and detail
- Skills in Design Engineering, with an ability to enhance product functionality and manufacturability
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with robotics, AI-based product development, or similar fields is a plus
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or a related field preferred
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / AutoCAD (any advanced CAD tool)
- Understanding of mechanical systems and basic robotics mechanisms
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and mechanical standards
- Ability to generate production-ready drawings
- Basic understanding of 3D printing and CNC processes
Preferred Skills
- Experience in robotics projects or hardware product design
- Knowledge of simulation tools (FEA basic understanding)
