Job Description:

The opportunity:

CAD Designer shall be creating or updating CAD models or drawings according to the branding guidelines. CAD Designer will be reporting to team manager of INOPC Portfolio Team.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Review existing CAD designs and identify elements that need to be updated or modified to align with branding standards.

  • Update engineering CAD models, drawings, sketches, and other technical documents according to latest branding guidelines.

  • Ensure consistency and coherence in branding across all CAD objects including drawings, models and technical documents.

  • Ensure accuracy and precision in the conversion process, maintaining the exact information of the original designs.

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications.

  • Review and verify updated CAD files to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the migration process.

  • Communicate effectively with the team members and project stakeholders to provide status updates and discuss any challenges or concerns.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/electrical engineering or related field with 1-2 years of experience.

  • Exposure to use of 3D CAD modelling tool Creo Parametric & 2D tool AutoCAD.

  • Hands on experience in PLM (Windchill). Prior experience in CAD migration or branding is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawing standards and CAD software functionality.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot CAD-related issues.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
