Job Description

Cradlepoint is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager (TLAN and Security) to be a crucial part of our Managed Services deliveries. This pivotal position requires a blend of strong expertise in IP Networks and Security Operations. You will be actively involved in enhancing and maintaining our IP networks, providing support for security-related audits and compliances. This role encompasses leading a team responsible for managing PAN India IP networks, overseeing security aspects of Node Acceptance Testing (AT), managing security audit tasks, ensuring contract compliance, participating in threat investigations, reviewing scanned network vulnerabilities, and driving their remediation.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Security Event Evaluation: Evaluate security events based on context, relevance, and urgency to determine appropriate responses.
  • Risk & Vulnerability Management: Execute comprehensive risk management and vulnerability assessments across the network infrastructure.
  • User Access Management: Carry out essential user access management tasks, ensuring adherence to security policies and least privilege principles.
  • PAN India IP Network Management: Manage the PAN India IP network, which carries a mix of Mobility and diverse IP services, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Security Evaluations & Recommendations: Participate in regular risk and security evaluations; review and recommend updates to security requirements based on evolving threats and compliance standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team responsible for managing and securing IP networks.
  • Security Audit Support: Support security-related audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Node Acceptance Testing (Security Portion): Oversee and ensure the security portion of Node Acceptance Testing (AT) is conducted thoroughly and effectively.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to contract compliance requirements related to network and security operations.
  • Threat Investigation: Actively participate in threat investigations, contributing expertise to identify root causes and mitigation strategies.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: Review scanned network vulnerabilities and drive their timely and effective remediation to strengthen the security posture.

The Skills You Bring: Required Qualifications

  • IP Networks Expertise: Strong proficiency in IP Networks.
  • Routing, Switching & Firewalls: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Routing, Switching, and Firewalls.
  • Telecommunication & Mobility Networks: Significant exposure to Telecommunication & Mobility networks.
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading a team within a Managed Services environment.
  • Security Audits & Acceptance Testing: Experience with Security Audits and Security-related Acceptance Testing.
  • Information Security Management: Familiarity with Information Security Management Systems (e.g., Ericsson Information Security Management System, or similar industry standards).
  • Network Vulnerabilities Assessment: Proficiency in conducting Network vulnerabilities assessments.
  • Access Management Solutions: Strong understanding and experience with Access Management Solutions.
  • People Management: Demonstrated skills in People Management, including team development and performance oversight.
