About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented
Finance & Accounts Lead to oversee financial operations, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the
Entertainment and/or E-commerce industry, with a strong understanding of high-volume transactions, revenue models, and digital business ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and audits
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, GST, TDS, and company laws
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Monitor and improve financial processes, controls, and systems
- Analyze financial data to support business decision-making and growth strategies
- Manage vendor payments, reconciliations, and receivables
- Ensure accurate reporting of revenue streams (especially for digital/ecommerce models)
Key Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts
- Must have experience in Entertainment and/or E-commerce industry
- Strong knowledge of GST, taxation, compliance, and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial modeling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling high transaction volumes (e-commerce platforms)
- Exposure to digital revenue models, subscriptions, or content monetization
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
