About the Role
We are looking for a C++ Systems/Embedded Developer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on low-level systems, embedded programming, and performance-critical applications.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to embedded systems, firmware development, hardware-software integration, and real-time processing, helping improve how AI models understand and solve complex systems-level challenges.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of AI-generated solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for systems programming, embedded applications, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including embedded workflows, firmware design, and system-level optimizations
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to C++, embedded systems, and low-level programming
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world systems and embedded programming challenges
- Assess AI outputs for correctness, performance, and hardware compatibility
- Identify inefficiencies, bugs, or incorrect assumptions in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on systems and embedded development
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in C++ with experience in systems or embedded programming
- Understanding of memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization
- Experience with embedded platforms, microcontrollers, or real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Familiarity with hardware-software integration and debugging tools
- Ability to evaluate low-level code and system design critically
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
