Role Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and trend-driven Buying Executive with 2–3 years of experience in fast fashion, preferably in ladies westernwear. The role involves supporting the buying function in product selection and ensuring timely availability of trend-right merchandise aligned with brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in planning and executing buying strategies for ladies westernwear category
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify latest fashion trends
- Work closely with design and merchandising teams to develop commercially viable collections
- Vendor management – sourcing, negotiation, and order follow-ups
- Ensure timely product development and on-time deliveries
- Monitor stock levels, sell-through, and take corrective actions to optimize performance
- Support in assortment planning, pricing, and margin management
- Coordinate with internal teams (planning, VM, marketing) for product launches
Key Requirements:- 2–3 years of experience in buying/merchandising in fast fashion retail
- Preferably from ladies westernwear category
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and silhouettes
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Proficiency in Excel and retail tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills:- Exposure to high SKU fast fashion environment
- Strong sense of trend forecasting and consumer behavior
- Good communication and coordination skills
Education:- Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion, Retail Management, or related field
