About the Role
DaMENSCH is looking for a Buying & Design Manager to own assortment planning, buying decisions, and the design & development pipeline for our apparel categories. This role sits at the intersection of design, data, and execution, and directly impacts what products we launch and scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own category-wise buying and assortment planning
- Manage the end-to-end design & product development pipeline
- Track timelines, approvals, sampling, and new product launches
- Analyze sales, margins, and inventory to optimize assortment
- Work closely with design, sourcing, supply chain, and marketing teams
- Maintain strong Excel-based trackers and dashboards for decision-making
What We're Looking For
- 35 years experience in apparel buying / merchandising / product roles
- Strong understanding of fabrics, fits, and apparel development cycles
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Graduate/Post-graduate from a reputed institution (NIFT / NID / Tier-1 colleges preferred)
