1) Define the sourcing landscape and strategy for system wise software sourcing for software defined vehicle.
2) Provide innovative pro-active inputs to product development team at the product concept phase for enabling software development.
3) Benchmarking and providing target cost for software elements and related design, development, and testing activities.
4) At technical sign off stage with prospective supplier, validate the Engg efforts for software development quoted by supplier.
5) Develop standard quotation templates, define a matrix of system wise, platform wise, geography wise man-hour cost of software development efforts.
6) Define serviceable agreement with suppliers.
7) Achieve cost targets defined at business case level and provide a plan for year-on-year reduction strategy.
8) Maintain and foster supplier relationship.
9) Know-how of Cloud based infrastructure, architecture, platform, technologies related to software services.
Experience expected : B.Tech in IT, Comp science, ECE with knowledge of costing. MBA preferred.3-5 years experience is preferred in automotive sourcing or sales.
