Role Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, technically adept Business Development Manager who thrives at the crossroads of engineering and business strategy. In this role, you will identify high-value partnerships, secure project contracts, and connect client requirements with European design and India's advanced manufacturing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Lead Generation: Identify and engage with mid-to-large-scale companies in India, Europe and the US that require engineering design and manufacturing scale-up support.
  • Consultative Sales: Serve as a technical advisor to clients, demonstrating how CLOSEDLOOP's design-to-delivery model accelerates time-to-market and reduces operational costs.
  • Cross-Continental Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams in Europe to align on technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and project timelines.
  • Ecosystem Development: Build and expand our network of vetted manufacturing partners across India.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to craft ROI-driven proposals that balance technical feasibility and commercial value.
  • Relationship Management: Oversee the full sales cyclefrom prospecting and outreach to negotiation and long-term account growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Electronics Engineering. An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Business Development within Engineering Services (ER&D), Contract Manufacturing (EMS), or Industrial Consulting.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, moulds, assembly), DFM/DFA principles, and global quality standards (ISO, CE).
  • Network: Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (CTO, VP Operations, Procurement Heads).
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel internationally (up to 3040%) for customer projects and factory audits.
