Job Description

As a Consultant at IBM, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads, and implements expert services utilizing IBM's breadth of offerings and technologies. You will be recognized by clients as a trusted business advisor, collaborating to provide innovative solutions that solve complex business problems. You will focus on developing solutions that excel in user experience, performance, reliability, scalability, and overall business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, automate, and release solutions based on client priorities and requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve risks affecting release scope, schedule, and quality, proposing potential solutions.
  • Ensure all integration solutions meet client specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Develop and deploy business change adoption strategies, including stakeholder analysis, change impact analysis, communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, resistance management plans, and adoption plans.
  • Build corporate-level Organizational Change Management (OCM) competency, fostering change mindset and culture.
  • Provide technical guidance in area of expertise and understand how departmental areas integrate to drive business objectives.
  • Contribute to technical direction and strategy within projects.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Education:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Business change adoption
  • Organizational Change Management (OCM) competency
  • Providing technical guidance and understanding functional integration
  • Input on technical direction and strategy

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • PROSCI, APMG Certification
  • Experience creating communication plans and strategies, including building narratives around progress, measures, and KPIs
  • Ability to utilize multiple communication channels effectively
