What are we looking for

The ideal candidate is a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping, analyzing, and executing high‑impact strategic initiatives in complex, matrixed environments. This role applies rigorous research, structured problem definition, and analytical thinking to frame complex business and operational issues, generate actionable insights, and improve enterprise decision‑making.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in strategy research and initiative execution, with a proven ability to translate ambiguity into clear priorities, business cases, and execution plans. This role requires independent judgment, strong facilitation and stakeholder influence skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel while meeting aggressive timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Business Problem Definition

  • Identify and frame complex business and operational problems into clear opportunity statements, hypotheses, and decision paths.

  • Define project objectives, success metrics, scope boundaries, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.

  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into actionable insights and recommendations

  • Build business cases and scenario analyses to guide prioritization, operating model changes

Initiative Execution

  • Drive and support key strategy, research, and process‑improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and measurable outcomes

  • Develop presentations, scorecards, and other summaries that highlight status, trends, risks and opportunities

  • Develop detailed project plans: workstreams, milestones, governance cadence, and communication plan.

  • Establish delivery mechanisms: RACI, operating rhythms, decision forums, escalation paths, and documentation standards.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of executive forums, including agenda design, stakeholder alignment, content creation, logistics, and follow‑up on actions/ takeaways

  • Build alignment across senior leaders and partner teams through structured updates and crisp storytelling

  • Run working sessions, decision meetings, and corresponding follow-ups, document decisions and action items

Skills & Knowledge

Qualification & Certifications

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic research, corporate strategy, business transformation, consulting, or related roles within financial services or similarly complex, regulated environments

  • Prior experience working in top‑tier consulting firms and/or internal corporate strategy, transformation, or process‑excellence teams with regular exposure to senior leadership and the C‑suite

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex strategic initiatives (e.g., operating model changes, growth strategies, regulatory or risk impact assessments, investment or prioritization cases) from problem definition through execution

  • Strong command of structured problem‑solving, strategy frameworks, and research methodologies to develop executive‑ready insights and recommendations

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA)

Primary Skills (Must Have)

  • Good knowledge of investment management/servicing industry

  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office, including structuring, charting and visualization

  • Experience with producing content for and presenting to the executive-level

  • Experienced professional, eloquent, organized and disciplined effectively work in a globally diverse and matrixed environment

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, meet deadlines and effectively execute in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving Self-motivated and goal-oriented

  • Excellent communication skills and written skills. Must have the ability to comfortably interact & communicate with all levels of the organization
