Job Description:
Good Returns, a part of Oneindia, is looking for a dynamic and experienced financial journalist to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, a passion for market trends, and the ability to break impactful financial news.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report and write on breaking financial news with speed and accuracy.
- Build and maintain reliable sources in the stock market and finance sectors.
- Cover market trends, policy updates, and economic developments.
- Attend press conferences, industry events, and report from the field when required.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to deliver insightful and timely content.
- Ensure factual accuracy and adherence to journalistic standards.
- Be comfortable with presenting financial content on video (preferred).
Requirements:
- Min 5 years of proven experience in financial journalism.
- Solid understanding of stock markets, economy, and financial systems.
- Strong writing and editing skills in both English and Hindi.
- Excellent communication and research abilities.
- Strong on-ground reporting experience and comfort with press interactions.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Video presence or on-camera experience will be an added advantage.
