About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive HR Business Operations Intern to support the HR team in day-to-day operations, employee engagement, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn how HR functions align with business goals and to gain real-world experience in human resources management and organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations Support
- Assist in maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases.
- Support onboarding, documentation, and induction processes for new hires.
- Help coordinate attendance, leave tracking, and payroll-related data collection.
- Assist in policy documentation and compliance activities.
2. Recruitment & Coordination
- Coordinate with the HR team for sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain candidate data and help track recruitment metrics.
- Support the HR team in job postings and onboarding communication.
3. Employee Engagement & Communication
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and internal events.
- Create internal communication posts, newsletters, and recognition messages.
- Collect feedback from employees and help drive a positive workplace culture.
4. HR Data & Reporting
- Support HR reporting and analytics preparing basic dashboards or reports on hiring, attendance, and other metrics.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities within HR operations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality in handling employee data.
- Interest in HR systems, analytics, and operations.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Basic understanding of HR functions and processes.
- Prior internship or project experience in HR (preferred but not mandatory).
