About the RoleVasundhara Raj Luxury Jewellery is seeking a highly organised and detail-orientedBusiness Managerto oversee our core operational framework. This role is the backbone of our luxury retail experience, focusing heavily on the meticulous management of high-value inventory, streamlined operations, and team leadership.
You will be responsible for ensuring that every piece of jewelleryfrom raw components to finished masterpiecesis accounted for, secured, and moved efficiently through our ecosystem. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for operational excellence in the luxury sector, we want to meet you.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Inventory Strategy & Control- End-to-End Management:Oversee the entire lifecycle of inventory, including procurement, stock intake, barcoding, and distribution.
- Component Tracking:Manage all components related to jewellery production (precious stones, metals, and findings) with 100% accuracy.
- Auditing:Lead regular physical stock audits and reconciliation against digital records to ensure zero leakage or shrinkage.
- Reporting:Generate weekly and monthly inventory health reports, highlighting fast-moving items and aging stock.
2. Operations & Process Management- Workflow Optimisation:Refine and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the inventory and operations departments.
- Logistics Coordination:Manage secure logistics for high-value shipments, ensuring timely delivery and safety protocols are met.
- Vendor Liaison:Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors regarding component quality and delivery timelines.
3. Team Leadership- Team Management:Supervise and mentor the Inventory & Operations team to ensure daily targets and accuracy standards are met.
- Inter-departmental Sync:Act as the bridge between the production floor, the sales team, and the inventory department to ensure seamless product flow.
Qualifications & Skills- Experience:5+ years in Operations or Inventory Management (Experience inLuxury Retail or Jewelleryis highly preferred).
- Technical Proficiency:Strong command over Inventory Management Software (ERP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail:An uncompromising eye for detail, essential for handling high-value assets and intricate components.
- Analytical Mindset:Ability to interpret data to make informed purchasing and stock-level decisions.
