Job Description

Marketplace Business & Growth Manager at Kreo will own everything related to building, scaling and optimizing Kreo's business across key e-commerce marketplaces from account strategy and merchandising to ads, pricing and operations. Act as single-threaded owner for all marketplace workstreams: assortment, content, ads, deals, operations and relationships. Work directly with founders to turn marketplace insights into concrete growth bets and experiments.

Business and strategy:

  • Build and own marketplace growth roadmap: revenue targets, category share, and key input metrics (traffic, CVR, ASP, returns, ratings).
  • Deeply understand Kreo's core customer segments (designers, traders, engineers) and translate this into marketplace strategy and positioning.
  • Track market and competition across platforms (pricing, promos, content, reviews) and identify white-spaces and attack plans.
  • Plan and execute selection strategy: which SKUs to list, phase out, or launch, with clear hypotheses on each.

Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day account health on marketplaces: penalties, SLAs, cancellations, returns, and claim resolution.
  • Coordinate internally with ops, CS and finance to ensure smooth order fulfilment, inventory availability and reconciliations.
  • Set up and maintain best-in-class PDPs: titles, bullets, A+ creatives, images and videos aligned to Kreo brand.
  • Build review and rating engine on platforms (post-purchase nudges, review responses, issue closure loops).

Ads and sales:

  • Plan and run all marketplace ads (PLA, brand ads, display) with clear budgets, ROAS and efficiency targets.
  • Drive participation in platform events (sales days, promotional campaigns, category days) deals, pricing strategy, inventory planning and merchandising.
  • Continuously A/B test pricing, coupons, discounts, and bundles to maximize contribution margin, not just top-line.
  • Build weekly dashboards for key KPIs and publish insights + action items for founders and team.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Own relationships with marketplace KAMs/category teams; secure visibility, events, and merchandising placements.
  • Collaborate with brand/creative to ensure on-platform communication matches off-platform campaigns and Kreo's identity.
  • Work with product to feed back marketplace learnings into roadmap (features, SKUs, packaging, pricing ladders).

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in e-commerce marketplace roles (Flipkart, Amazon, Jiomart, etc.) managing P&L or key accounts.
  • Strong analytical chops: advanced Excel/Sheets; comfort with dashboards, cohorts and funnel metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with marketplace seller panels (ads, reports, promotions, returns, payments) is a strong plus.

High ownership, bias for action, and comfort with experimentation in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
