Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Loan Officer at Tata Capital, located in Kolkata. The Business Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating, processing, and approving business loan applications. Day-to-day tasks include assessing financial data, ensuring compliance with underwriting policies, fostering strong customer relationships, managing loan origination processes, and ensuring the timely completion of loan documentation while meeting or exceeding performance targets.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Loan Origination and Loan Analysis processes
- Strong background in Finance, including underwriting and financial evaluation
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role in the banking or financial services industry
- Exceptional Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance applicable in the financial sector
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Prior experience in business lending and a thorough understanding of local financial practices and market dynamics in Kolkata is a plus
