Description

We are seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineer to join India Global Selling (INGS). INGS empowers individuals and businesses to expand their reach to customers worldwide. Since inception, Amazon India has enabled over $20B in global exports, helping businesses, exporters, D2C brands, and entrepreneurs scale their products to international markets.
We are looking for a self-driven, seasoned BIE II to join our high-impact team. In this role, you will architect scalable data solutions, leverage AI to automate complex workflows, collaborate on building robust data models and ETL pipelines, and significantly enhance overall productivity across INGS.

Key job responsibilities
. Develop deep expertise with Amazon's internal data services and AWS products, becoming a subject matter expert in data infrastructure
. Own end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical dashboards, reports, and analytics for key INGS business metrics
. Design and implement integrated AI-powered solutions to automate manual workflows, driving measurable productivity improvements and operational efficiency
. Collaborate with associate BIEs, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams to architect, develop, and deploy automated reporting solutions, basic ML models, and scalable infrastructure that meets evolving business needs
. Transform complex raw data into clear, actionable insights through sophisticated data modeling, integration, and visualization techniques
. Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effectively translating technical concepts for both business stakeholders and technical teams while driving data-informed decision-making

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Master's degree, or MBA in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
