Role Overview We are seeking an Apprentice Leader (AL) with strong expertise in Power BI and the Microsoft ecosystem to join our digital transformation program for a leading retail CPG customer. This role goes beyond dashboard development—you will lead client engagements, ideate around complex supply chain problems, and design enterprise-grade analytics solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. As an Apprentice Leader, you will combine your BI expertise with structured problem solving, business acumen, and digital-first thinking to reimagine how supply chains operate and make decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead problem-solving discussions with business stakeholders to translate supply chain challenges into analytical use cases.

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, data models, and simulations for decision-making (forecasting, scenario modeling, what-if analysis).

• Leverage Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Engineering, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics) to unify data and build scalable enterprise solutions.

• Set up and manage Power BI Deployment Pipelines to ensure seamless release management across dev, test, and production.

• Integrate Power BI with Power Apps and Power Automate to deliver end-to-end workflows. • Implement row-level security, governance, and performance tuning for enterprise-grade BI environments.

• Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to optimize ETL pipelines, data refreshes, and integrations (SQL, APIs, Azure services).

• Drive self-service BI adoption, training, and governance for business users.

• Document and institutionalize dashboards, models, and processes for scalability and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 5-7 years of experience in Power BI development and BI consulting (preferably in Retail/CPG supply chain).

• Deep expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language), advanced data modeling, and performance optimization.

• Strong experience in supply chain analytics use cases (demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics performance, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Deployment Pipelines, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

• Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks).

• Ability to design and implement self-service BI frameworks with governance and scalability in mind.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Preferred Qualifications :

• BE/B. Tech or M. Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

• Prior experience working in supply chain analytics within CPG companies or consulting engagements.
