The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and driven Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, deriving actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. This role requires expertise in Advanced analytics and programming, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
About The Team
The GTM BI Team at Nutanix helps drive growth, performance, and measure performance throughout the sales organization. We act as partners to identify Sales achievement, opportunities, and drive operational excellence.
The team developed a streamlined rhythm of business used to drive forecast calls worldwide and measure sales performance.
Our team works 3 days in office mandatory and other 2 days remote. This helps in blending remote work and in-office collaboration.
Your Role
- Deliver Deep Insights: Develop deep AI powered quantitative and qualitative insights to support executive decision making.
- Deliver Interactive -insights: Build interactive dashboards and conversational intelligence tools to help our Go-To-Market executives and frontline teams drive the business.
- Build robust metrics: Partner closely with business leaders to define impactful Go-To-Market KPIs that measure growth, retention, productivity, and other strategic focus areas.
- Strengthen data foundation: Partner closely with our Data-Engineering team to build a scalable, secure and zero-error data foundation.
- Early-Warning Systems: Develop AI powered early warning agents that spot patterns and identify areas for intervention.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related area.
- Experience building interactive or conversational analytics solutions.
- Strong skills in Prompt Engineering and experience using AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor.ai, Copilot or Claude.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Python, React, SQL, Pandas, or Spark.
- Experience in building agentic analytics using Wisdom.ai, Alteryx or Thoughspot.
- Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and statistical analysis (regression, hypothesis testing).
- Ability to absorb business context quickly and work with senior stakeholders.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong design sense.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
