Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Head to lead the end-to-end business operations, growth strategy, and brand expansion for a Luxury Indian Designer label. The candidate will drive P&L, retail, brand collaborations, fashion events, customer experience, and global marketing, while ensuring the label's legacy and design ethos remain at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Revenue Leadership
- Own and drive P&L, revenue targets, and profitability.
- Create annual and quarterly business plans for retail, e-commerce, couture, and global markets.
- Identify new revenue channels: luxury boutiques, international stockists, couture shows, multi-brand stores.
2. Brand Strategy & Market Expansion
- Build brand expansion strategy across India, Middle East, US, UK, and SEA markets.
- Explore partnerships with luxury platforms, hotels, stylists, fashion houses, bridal exhibitions, and premium malls.
- Evaluate and launch new stores or pop-ups in high-potential territories.
3. Retail & Customer Experience
- Oversee retail operations for flagship, franchise, and SIS outlets.
- Maintain ultra-premium customer experience aligned with global luxury standards.
- Strengthen VIP, celebrity, and bridal clientele relationships.
4. Product, Merchandising & Collections
- Work closely with the designer and design team on collection planning.
- Optimize inventory, merchandising, pricing, and product lifecycle.
- Align product strategy with brand aesthetic and global luxury trends.
5. Marketing, PR & Celebrity Relations
- Lead 360 marketing: digital, social, print, PR, and influencer relations.
- Manage celebrity styling, red-carpet visibility, and fashion week participation.
- Execute luxury campaigns, brand films, and collaborations with artists/creators.
6. Partnerships & Events
- Lead partnerships with luxury hotels, wedding planners, stylists, fashion events, and corporate houses.
- Strategize brand presence at couture shows, exhibitions, and trunk shows.
- Ensure premium brand recall across media and high-net-worth communities.
7. Team Leadership
- Hire, train, and lead cross-functional teams (retail, sales, marketing, operations).
- Build a performance-driven, creative, and luxury-focused work culture.
- Mentor senior managers and set KPIs for all business units.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 815+ years in luxury fashion, couture, premium retail, or designer brand management.
- Proven experience handling P&L, scaling luxury businesses, and multi-city operations.
- Strong network in luxury retail, celebrity/PR ecosystem, HNI/bridal market.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Indian bridal couture, luxury pret, or bespoke fashion.
- Exposure to international luxury markets or luxury e-commerce platforms.
