Job Purpose:

Lead the profitable and sustainable growth of the MedTech business in South Asia (India & Exports) by ensuring the implementation of financial, operational, and strategic initiatives, exploring new business opportunities, and developing high-performance teams, all fully aligned with the global vision.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement commercial and market strategies for South Asia. Evaluate and align marketing strategies, closely monitor their execution and market results, and leverage market analysis to maximize brand presence, customer engagement, market share, and sustainable business expansion.
  • Commercial Excellence: Champion and embed Commercial Excellence principles in daily operations to drive consistent, high-quality execution across all commercial activities.
  • Financial Management: Full P&L and Cash Flow responsibility, ensuring cost efficiency, working capital optimization, and accurate monthly sales and profit forecasting.
  • Talent Development: Build and strengthen the regional team through structured talent programs, performance management, succession planning, and leadership coaching.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, partners, distributors, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Business Innovation: Develop innovative strategies and business models to maximize market coverage and penetration, with a strong focus on growing market share and creating differentiated approaches to capture growth opportunities.
  • Strategic Alignment with Shared Services: Ensure effective collaboration and alignment with Fresenius Kabi shared services (Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, HR, Finance), influencing priorities and service levels despite their functional reporting under the Hotel Keeper model.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate quality standards.
