About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Leader (ex-Founder preferred) to spearhead our emerging Category business. This role requires someone with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving growth. Ideally, you have previously built and scaled a business, raised external funding, and are comfortable owning end-to-end business outcomes.

As the Business Lead, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap of the emerging Category, while ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L Ownership: Drive topline growth, profitability, and long-term value creation for the category.
  • Strategy & Execution: Define category strategy, build GTM plans, and lead cross-functional execution to deliver results.
  • Fundraising: Partner with leadership/founder team to explore and raise capital, leveraging prior fundraising experience.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and customer acquisition channels to expand the category.
  • Customer-Centric Growth: Build products, experiences, and strategies tailored to evolving customer needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, to align on business priorities.
  • 0 to 1 and 1 to 10 growth: Take the business forward, charting a path of growth

What We're Looking For

  • Ex-founder / ex-co-founder / early-stage leader with proven experience in building and scaling a business.
  • Strong experience in fundraising (seed/Series A/B preferred) and investor relations.
  • 1015 years of experience across entrepreneurship, business leadership, or high-growth startups.
  • Strong strategic thinking with a bias for execution and results.
  • Proven ability to own and drive P&L.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Passion for consumer businesses; with experience in building and scaling new categories being a strong plus.
