Kranium HR Services Pvt Ltd is mandated to hire for their Ed Tech client a Business Head with the following responsibilities
- Revenue strategy and execution, P&L ownership (pricing, margins, unit economics), Go-to-market execution (sales, marketing, channel strategy), Team building & leadership (sales, marketing, customer success), Forecasting and reporting to leadership
- Core skill sets: Growth strategy for education products, Sales set up and management, Revenue systems, Digital and brand marketing, Data-driven performance management, Budgeting and resource allocation
- Strategic Planning and GTM Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies to increase the subscriber base and engagement, leading to market domination in Karnataka across all segments.
- Strategise and execute the monetisation plan and the P&L for each of our channels and products.
- Continuously explore new trends in Ed-Tech to innovate and stay ahead of the competition.
2.Revenue Growth
- Explore and establish potential revenue streams while maintaining the core mission of providing affordable high-quality education
- Drive substantial revenue growth through diversified monetisation strategies across platforms, including YouTube and the mobile app.
- Plan and build sales funnels, sales team and automation channels to create a seamless sales system and processes to drive revenue growth.
- Be in charge of break even and profitability - pricing, unit economics and margins.
- Build and manage the customer success/customer support capability
- Manage costs and investments prudently to ensure sustainable profitability while reinvesting in platform development and content expansion
3.Marketing and Outreach
- Develop and execute comprehensive quarterly and monthly marketing plans
- Utilize performance marketing judiciously and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and adapt to market dynamics.
- Manage social media channels and online presence to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate community outreach efforts to build relationships with educators, students, and parents.
- Plan eye-catching creatives with the design team for promotions across various platforms.
4.Team Leadership
- Work closely with business, product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and messaging.
- Lead and motivate a team of educators, content creators, and support staff
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members
PROFILE
- MBA with sales and marketing specialisation.
- Around 10-12 years of experience in business management, sales, marketing, growth or a similar role with a significant part in Ed tech/similar categories.
- Experience driving revenue targets from early stages into multi-crore run rate levels.
- Proven track record achieving significant market penetration in the Ed-Tech sector, evidenced by revenue, increased user base and customer acquisition rates across Web and App platforms
- A strong understanding of the educational landscape in Karnataka is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
