We're on a mission to 20 revenue and dominate D2C, Quick Commerce, and Marketplaces, while building an iconic, trusted consumer brand. To make this happen, we need a proven business leader who thrives on accountability, speed, and data-driven growth.
As Business Head, you'll report directly to the CEO/Founder, own the P&L, and have full autonomy on pricing, marketing spends, and channel strategysteering GemsMantra through its most aggressive growth phase. If you're hungry to build something legendary, this is your stage.
What You'll Own
D2C Growth Engine: Scale our website & app with sharp conversion optimization, SEO/AEO, and full-funnel marketing.
Customer Experience & Ops: Evaluate D2C operations, close experience gaps, and minimize returns.
Omni-Channel Expansion: Lead revenue growth across D2C, Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra), Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart), and Offline formats (pop-ups, retail tie-ups).
Marketing Excellence: Drive performance marketing, influencer ecosystems, social commerce, and brand storytellingown product launches end-to-end.
New Revenue Streams: Build subscriptions, gifting verticals, global markets (NRI/Middle East), and high-impact collaborations.
Product Innovation: Spot emerging trends and launch new SKUs/categories that expand spiritual lifestyle relevance.
Procurement & Quality: Oversee sourcing, vendor management, RTO/refund benchmarks, logistics, and quality at scale.
Financial Discipline: Own forecasting, unit economics, contribution margins, and support fundraising readiness.
Leadership & Culture: Build and mentor a high-performance, cross-functional team that thrives on speed, accountability, and innovation.
Success Metrics
D2C revenue growth (website/app share vs. marketplaces)
Monthly topline growth & profitability (PAT, contribution margin)
Marketplace & Quick Commerce category share
New product launches and contribution to total revenue
Expansion into new channels (subscriptions, gifting, offline, global)
Operational efficiency: RTO, refunds, supply chain stability
Measurable channel growth within the first 90 days
Who We're Looking For
712 yrs in consumer brand or e-commerce leadership (lifestyle, jewellery, wellness, or premium D2C preferred).
Proven P&L ownership and scale-up experience in a high-growth D2C or omni-channel brand.
Deep knowledge of marketplace ops, sourcing, and vendor management.
Sharp commercial instincts, process discipline, and speed of execution.
Track record of scaling Amazon/Myntra/Flipkart/Quick Commerce platforms profitably.
Hands-on leader who combines first-principle thinking with growth frameworks.
Strategic builder ready to shape the next iconic Indian lifestyle brand.
A team player who builds and mentors high-performing teams.
