Job Summary
The Business Head – Digital Business will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and customer acquisition through the company's digital platforms and mobile applications. The role involves developing and executing digital business strategies, enhancing customer experience, increasing digital adoption, managing P&L, and collaborating with technology, product, marketing, and operations teams to achieve business objectives within the financial services ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute the digital business strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth through digital channels.
- Identify new digital business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Own and manage the digital business P&L.
Digital Channel Management
- Lead the growth of mobile app and digital platform usage.
- Improve digital customer journeys and conversion rates.
- Monitor and optimize key digital metrics including downloads, active users, transactions, and revenue.
Product & Customer Experience
- Work closely with product and technology teams to enhance digital products and services.
- Ensure seamless customer onboarding and transaction experiences.
- Leverage customer insights and analytics to improve engagement and satisfaction.
Marketing & Acquisition
- Partner with digital marketing teams to drive app downloads and customer acquisition.
- Develop campaigns to increase user engagement and cross-sell financial products.
- Optimize customer acquisition costs and lifetime value.
Analytics & Performance Management
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to track business performance.
- Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Present business performance reports to senior management.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor digital business teams.
- Collaborate with operations, risk, compliance, technology, and product teams.
- Build strategic partnerships with fintechs, aggregators, and digital ecosystems.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Work closely with risk and compliance teams to manage digital business risks.
Required Qualifications
- MBA / Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 12–18 years of experience in financial services, fintech, banking, insurance, NBFC, or digital platforms.
- Proven experience in leading digital business growth and customer acquisition.
- Strong understanding of mobile app ecosystems, digital marketing, analytics, and financial products.
