Position Overview: Business Growth Associate- E-commerce

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Business Growth Associate E-commerce. This role sits at the center of our online business operations, driving growth across key e-commerce marketplaces. As part of the E-commerce team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize product visibility, enhance catalog quality, streamline operations, and support data-driven decision-making.

You will be responsible for improving listing accuracy, monitoring platform performance, understanding consumer behavior, and supporting category and revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about marketplace excellence, and wants to create meaningful impact on sales and customer experience.

1. Business & Performance Analysis

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on marketplace performance including traffic, conversion, pricing, and competition trends.
  • Evaluate category movements, performance drivers, and improvement areas using platform dashboards and internal data.
  • Build and maintain weekly/monthly business performance trackers.

2. Consumer Insights

  • Analyze platform reviews, ratings, Q&As, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Extract insights from purchase behavior, product return reasons, and cohort performance to guide product and marketing decisions.

3. E-commerce Listings & Catalog Management

  • Manage end-to-end product listings on marketplaces (Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, Tira, Myntra, etc.).
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in catalog details including titles, descriptions, ingredients, USPs, attributes, and imagery.
  • Coordinate with design/content teams for PDP enhancements, A+ content, and brand stores.
  • Monitor listing health: suppressions, content mismatches, incorrect categorization, or missing attributes.
  • Track catalog metrics (searchability, keyword tagging, compliance, image quality, etc.).

4. Category Growth & Launch Planning

  • Support new product launch planning across all marketplacescoordination, content alignment, and go-live checks.
  • Work with marketing and marketplace teams for visibility plans, promotions, and targeted campaigns.
  • Identify high-potential SKUs, gaps in catalog, and cross-selling opportunities.

5. Platform Operations & Process Improvement

  • Coordinate with marketplace teams to resolve operational issues related to catalog, inventory visibility, payment settlements, and order flows.
  • Identify inefficiencies in listing workflows, dashboards, or reporting systems and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines and maintain strong hygiene across all catalog touchpoints.

6. Financial & Business Reporting

  • Prepare weekly/monthly business reviews covering sales, spends, ROI, pricing, margin movements, and platform performance.
  • Consolidate data for internal reviews, management updates, and strategic planning.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree; 0-2 years of experience in e-commerce, category management, catalog management, or business analysis.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills; comfortable with numbers and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience with marketplace portals (Seller Central, Nykaa Panel, Myntra SJIT, Tira Brand Panel, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • High attention to detailespecially in catalog, data management, and listing accuracy.
  • Creative problem-solving approach with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
