About the Company:

Rize is a joint venture between Temasek, Wavemaker Impact, Breakthrough Energy Ventures,

GenZero to decarbonize rice cultivation in Asia. It is building a platform to identify and

implement the most effective strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in rice

cultivation, and the right economic incentives to drive the adoption of sustainable cultivation

techniques. Rize's initial target markets are Indonesia, Vietnam and India, with plans to

expand more broadly within the region. Rize seeks to collaborate with and build on the good

work already carried out by organizations, corporates, startups, and academic institutions in

the region.

Job Overview:

As a Finance Manager will play an important role on a set of Financial Modeling, Due Diligence

Audit, fundraise support and investor reporting activities that support a company's major

business decisions and overall Financial Health.

You will report to the Finance Lead and will get the opportunity to interact with the team

across the branches.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing modeling, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Manage fund raising due diligence process from end to end

Conduct financial analysis and prepare necessary dashboard to support informed

strategic decisions.

Manage cash flow and forecasting to ensure financial health and stability.

Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with business objectives.

Requirements:

CA or MBA from reputed colleges with 2-5 years experience is a must.

Experience working with startups in ecomm/agri/sustainability space in finance

teams

Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capability

Ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data to drive insights

Good problem solving and first principle level thinking skills

Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
