Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the financial health of the organization while supporting strategic and operational decision-making. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, focusing on financial planning, analysis, business partnering, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare annual operating plans (AOP), budgets, and forecasts.
- Track actuals vs budget and explain variances.
- Support cost optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.
2. Commercial & Business Support
- Review pricing, commercials, and negotiate financial clauses in contracts.
- Work with business heads to identify growth opportunities and support business initiatives.
3. Business Performance Analysis
- Analyze revenue, margins, project profitability, and cash flows.
- Provide MIS, dashboards, and insights to management.
- Support pricing, bid evaluation, and ROI analysis, especially for project-based or IT businesses.
4. Decision Support to Management
- Act as a finance business partner to business heads.
- Evaluate financial impact of strategic decisions (new projects, investments, expansions).
- Provide data-backed recommendations for go/no-go decisions.
5. Cost Control & Financial Governance
- Monitor expenses, capex/opex, and working capital.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and approval matrices.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation actions.
6. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Forecast cash flows and manage liquidity.
- Track receivables, payables, and project billing cycles.
- Support collections and optimize payment terms.
