Job Description

Position Title: Business Finance - Assistant Manager/Manager

Open Positions: 4

Location: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad

About the Role:

The role partners with operations and sales to drive profitability and financial performance across the portfolio. It manages P&L oversight, forecasting, budgeting, and client-level margin analysis. You will support pricing, commercial governance, and strategic decision-making with data-driven insights. Success requires strong business partnering, understanding of FTE/volume-based models, and financial discipline.

What you'll do at Digitide:

Strategic Financial & Business Partnering:

  • Act as a key strategic partner to senior leadership across various business units and functions (e.g., Sales, Operations).
  • Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Understand the key business drivers and challenges and translate them into actionable financial strategies. o Participate in strategic planning processes and contribute a strong financial perspective to business decisions.

Performance Management & Reporting:

  • Analyze business performance, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insightful reports and presentations to management.
  • Drive accountability for financial performance across different business units.
  • Develop and implement performance management frameworks and tools.

Pricing Strategy & Profitability Management:

  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that optimize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Deal structuring, large deal negotiations, contracting, etc
  • Analyze product and customer profitability and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide financial guidance on contract negotiations and commercial terms.

Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of financial information.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement and optimize financial systems and tools.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Effectively communicate financial performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management, the board of directors, and other relevant stakeholders. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • CA qualified with over 3+ years of relevant experience in Business Finance & Pricing.
  • Proven experience in working with the BPM/BPO Industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Proficient in Business Partnering.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead digitization projects and handle complex financial tasks. Strong risk management skills.
