About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Strategy, Execution & Business Data Management leader within the COO / Chief of Staff office for India & Philippines. The role connects strategy to results by defining outcomes and KPIs, driving cross-functional execution, and building scalable data and reporting capabilities - while applying strong storytelling and presentation skills to craft compelling, executive-ready decks and narratives that enable faster, better decisions.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop team in roles with moderate complexity and risk
  • Establish business objectives and coordinate business planning
  • Develop short and long range strategic plans
  • Identify and analyze business opportunities
  • Evaluate merger and acquisition targets or third party opportunities
  • Propose and review product line, service changes, or expansions
  • Monitor economic, business, and political trends to determine potential business impact
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions to meet high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Partner with functional leaders and executive stakeholders to secure resources, influence outcomes, resolve conflicts/impasses, and ensure alignment with policies and business objectives.
  • Identify execution and change risks early, develop mitigation plans, drive governance and course correction, and recommend opportunities to improve Business Execution processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver accurate, timely data for business reporting and decision-making build scalable, reliable data processes and well-documented models to streamline reporting and improve data usability.
  • Create crisp, executive-ready presentation decks, leadership updates, decision memos, and management reports-translating complex insights into clear stories, recommendations, and decisions.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources lead, develop, and coach a team of Business Execution Consultants while fostering a culture of talent development and execution excellence.


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Strategy and Planning experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management or leadership experience
  • Data/reporting strength: models, scalable routines, accurate management reporting
  • Strong analytics and executive communication-turns data into crisp insights and leadership-ready decks/memos
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint (plus relevant reporting/visualization tools)


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in or closely with COO / CEO / CXO offices, strategy functions, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Experience driving cross-functional, multi-geography initiatives (India & Philippines exposure preferred).
  • Expertise in data modeling and data management practices ability to design efficient, scalable reporting and dashboards.
  • Exceptional execution rigor with comfort operating in ambiguity strong project/program management skills.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of Generative AI to convert enterprise strategies into structured transformation roadmaps, portfolios, and initiative plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data management/visualization tools.
