The Role Business Development Executive
We are looking for a dynamic and technically-minded Business Development professional to spearhead our growth in India / Germany / Italy / Brazil. This is a unique Science-meets-Sales role, perfect for individuals with a background in Life Sciences who excel in building professional relationships and driving market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the footwear, apparel, and related manufacturing sectors in the region.
- Technical Consultancy: Conduct on-site environmental audits and mold prevention assessments at factory locations.
- Expert Training: Lead training sessions and workshops for factory management and quality control teams on YCM's prevention protocols.
- Client Management: Act as a trusted advisor to global brands, ensuring the successful implementation of mold prevention strategies.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide market insights and regular progress reports to the global headquarters.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related scientific field. An MBA in Sales or Marketing is highly preferred.
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven success in B2B Sales or Business Development.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and communicate biological and environmental concepts to a business audience.
- Communication: Professional fluency in English and native/professional proficiency in the local language.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the region to visit client sites.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with a remote-ready setup (Must own a laptop and be mobile-ready).
